Over the years, I have documented the arrival of many newborns and just loved every minute of it. I have realized recently that my true “happy place” doing newborns is in a more “lifestyle” environment. I love telling a story with my images, and with a newborn (and especially with a big sibling as well), the home is the perfect backdrop–so I want to beef up my newborn portfolio to include mostly that. All I need is a pretty pocket of light in the room, a neat and organized space (though this can easily be “faked” as well-LOL), and a beautiful family (that’s you).
You have worked hard on that beautiful nursery for your new baby…. why not show it off?? Over the next few weeks (maybe months), I will be taking submissions of nurseries (via 2-3 photos you take) for a free lifestyle newborn or baby under 18 months session and 4 digital images. The images I am hoping to capture will center around being in a crib. Older siblings can most certainly be included. I love sibling captures.
When taking photos for me….open the blinds and try to use only natural light coming in if you can! iphone pictures are more than fine. I am looking a the space, not the photography skills. I would love to see 2-3 views of the nursery. Please include your due date or the age of your baby. I will be the one choosing, I am not making it a contest for people to vote (I think that can get a little sticky). The location must be 30 minutes from 21050, or you can pay a travel fee if not. I can’t wait to see the submissions!!
