Okay–THIS is my gorgeous cousin getting ready to leave for prom last night.
She seriously looked….stunning! She’s stunning anyway, but her hair, make up–the dress. Just beautiful.
I had to get a full length shot of the dress (unique, right?), but I found myself wanting to get mostly close ups.
It’s kind of bizarre as she grows up because she is starting to feel less like a “little cousin” (we are 13 years apart) and more like a friend.
I hope you like the pics–and hope last night was awesome.

I met up with this little guy and his parents yesterday at a great location in the area. There was so much to do and it was a gorgeous day! Little “Z” was so intrigued by the bugs, the geese (even babies–errr…goslings??), and boats in the water. The best was when we bumped into some local fisherman who had just pulled a flip flopping eel out of the water (yick!). That’s what he’s staring at so intently in the pic holding dad’s hand. He didn’t know what to make of it!

I even got a neat picture of “Z” next to dad’s tattoo. He got it shortly after he was born, and it’s his baby feet! Aww….

“Z” was all boy–and so sweet—climbing like crazy, running down the hill, obsessed with the bugs, and picking dandelion after dandelion…kind of gave me a window into what my son may be like in a year.

This baby boy is a very special one to me! His mom and dad are great friends of mine!

So…were you wondering about the title for his post? Well, both of my kids love the new Black Eyed Peas song, “Boom Boom Boom” (who doesn’t?), so when I started singing it to little “M,” wouldn’t you know it? It’s one of HIS favorites too! Gotta love that–and him!

This lovely little lady in yellow was just darling, and she was as sweet as a buttercup! Another recent celebrater of the big first birthday…and yes–walking, walking, walking!

Those big blue eyes are gonna break some hearts someday!

This happy little guy shares a lot in common with my son–he loves to dance, he loves singing and music, …and they have the SAME birthday! Wild, huh? The one thing little “R” does that my guy doesn’t do is walk, walk, walk! He was on the go and happy as a clam. I couldn’t ask for a more pleasant baby to photograph on this gorgeous day. Enjoy!
