Ah, my little man. So sweet, so laid back (can you tell?). It’s rare that I can capture him, as most 20 month olds want nothing to do with stopping and looking! He really is just a gentle and mild mannered child…but so much fun!

Here’s to you Jax! Love ya–and oh–take note of the bribery cheeseballs that are “oh so evident” in the pictures to get him to stay still. Whatever!! ;) He’s cute no matter what, right?

{Soon to be family of 3….} Harford County, Maryland Maternity Portrait Photography

Posted on January 23, 2010

A new family of three is on the way…or should I say 5?? Anyone who has a dog knows they might as well be your children! ;)

What a sweetheart this mom to be was….brace yourself here–she’s 39 weeks!! Yes, that’s right the baby is due next week. I wouldn’t have stepped anywhere near a camera when I was that far along, but I can totally see why she did! Isn’t she adorable? I wish I looked that fabulous right before delivery!!

It was an honor to capture such a special moment for this family, and I can’t wait to meet their little one VERY soon! I hope the “boys” don’t get to jealous of the new arrival! They were so good for their session today!

Enjoy the sneak….only 3, as this was a mini session!

{Fancy Nancy, Take 2: Bonjour Butterfly} Harford County, Maryland Child Portrait Photographer

Posted on January 22, 2010

Okay we are BACK with Fancy Nancy Tutu number 2 (that’s a lot of “tus”). :)

This one is the “Bonjor Butterfly,” from this Fancy Nancy Book .  Again, if you don’t know Fancy Nancy, check out this post. You can also see the tutu from The Posh Puppy as well.

I love this one best I think because I LOVE butterflies, and I really love the colors too.  Kind of like strawberry Lemonade!

Okay I will let the rest of this post speak for itself!

If you want to buy one from Paisley and Posies on Etsy, click here.

{Sweet Baby “B”….a true fighter!} Harford County, Maryland Newborn Photographer

Posted on January 20, 2010

Look at those lips! Oh my, baby “B” was adorable…and he had quite the rough start, as did his parents.

“B” was in the NICU for almost two weeks earlier this month. He was born 3 weeks early, and had to be taken out via emergency c-section because his Mom’s placenta ruptured.. Very scary, and after an extremely tumultuous few days, this couple was finally able to be together and hold their baby.

Now that he is home…you’d never guess what they had been through! The love radiated so strong from this new family of three, and I couldn’t be more honored to capture their first moments together.

Again, look at those LIPS, and oh my that hair! What a knockout! Parents, lock up your daughters!! ;)

Daddy works for Under Armour, and this blanket and hat were an awesome gift from them!
“B” looks like he’s giving me the “stink-eye” here…. ;)
