So tell us Mason, how do bubbles taste?
I have a lot of favorites about being a child photographer.
I love capturing Moms with their kiddos, because we all know that is few and far between. They are the ones BEHIND the lens.
I love chasing a super fast running and feisty toddler between the ages of 12-30 months (when snapping pictures are most challenging) and finally getting that sweet shot that feels like TRUE victory.
I love watching a little person grow up in front of my lens…chronicling their innocent start in life.
I love getting a soft/shy child to smile big at something super cheesy that I said to them–or their parent dancing behind me.
….and I love love love most capturing the little people and their families that I love in my personal life. This is the story of sweet Charlotte and her parents…our friends.

Just beautiful, ….that it was! From the evening light, the adorable dresses, the gorgeous gals…it was all perfect, and we had so much fun together that night. Sessions like this are just a constant reminder for me why I am a child photographer. They are so pure and real and genuine. It makes my heart sing. There’s also something to be said for great parents. The ones that let their kiddos run, play and just BE as you take their picture. It makes a difference! They are having FUN…real fun. So thanks to you guys too!! Enjoy the peek!!
I’m not sure that I will ever be able to “thank” you enough for the wonderful photos of my grandaughters. They LOVE you and the techniques you use to capture their personalities, what a gift you give all of us with your work. As you say, til next time.
Another set of sweet baby twins, only this time it’s BOYS. Snips, snails…puppy dog tails…yes, all of that.
This is Will and Ethan, and they are the beautiful newborn sons of an adorable couple I know personally. I can only imagine these two rough and tumble boys growing up together. Oh the bond they will have! I can’t wait to see them grow and change and develop little personalities all their own.
For now, enjoy them sleepy and calm…fresh and new….just precious.

Yup. Twin gals again! …and SO SO cute. These two were first clients of mine at a Tiny Toes event last Fall. I was so excited when mom contacted me for their own full session after they turned one. I am equally glad I was able to convince Mom and Dad to get in a few pictures with the girls as well.
I say it all the time. Too often parents are only BEHIND the camera–mostly the Mommies. You know your children are going to want to see you in some of those pictures!! I myself was even guilty of this until a few months ago. I think we all get wrapped up in looking our best, and being “perfect,” when really….all that matters is the moment. I couldn’t have been more excited and happy to have someone capture my family as a unit, and it really is becoming my personal goal as a photographer for each and every session to at least get one family shot. It matters, and it’s special.
Anyway, enjoy the pics of this adorable duo of little girl cuteness!!!
