{Double Dose!} Harford County, Maryland Custom Child Portrait Photographer

Yup.  Twin gals again!  …and SO SO cute.  These two were first clients of mine at a Tiny Toes event last Fall.  I was so excited when mom contacted me for their own full session after they turned one. I am equally glad I was able to convince Mom and Dad to get in a few pictures  with the girls as well.

I say it all the time.  Too often parents are only BEHIND the camera–mostly the Mommies.  You know your children are going to want to see you in some of those pictures!!   I myself was even guilty of this until a few months ago.  I think we all get wrapped up in looking our best, and being “perfect,” when really….all that matters is the moment. I couldn’t have been more excited and happy to have someone capture my family as a unit, and it really is becoming my personal goal as a photographer for each and every session to at least get one family shot. It matters, and it’s special.

Anyway, enjoy the pics of this adorable duo of little girl cuteness!!!

{Twice as nice…made of Sugar and Spice} Harford County, Maryland Newborn Portrait Photographer

They say little gals are made of sugar and spice…so when there are TWIN little gals, it’s twice as nice I suppose, right?

These two dolls were welcomed into the world by not just their parents, but a sweet big brother as well. It was fun being able to try variations of matching headbands and hats for these pictures (not on big brother of course). I can already tell Mom is definitely going to have fun acessorizing these two.

On another note, I feel so behind on blogging! Facebook is so easy, so convienient–it has sucked me in, but the blog was bulit for showcasing photos at their best. It was built for telling a story.

Enjoy the sweet story of these two newborn baby girl twins.

{Lovely} Harford County, Maryland Custom Child and Family Portrait Photographer

If you follow my blog or facebook page, you might remember this sweet boy as “Rocker Baby.” Yep, he’s the one that I snuggled in a guitar case when he was just days old. Well, the case is back..and with it Daddy’s guitar this time. We had some lovely family time on a little grass path tucked away near me. Daddy played, everyone snuggled….I almost feel like I wasn’t even there when I look at these pictures (as in, it feels like a private moment). Can’t you feel the love between them?:)

{Sweet Sisters at Home!} Harford County, Maryland Custom Child and Family Portrait Photographer

This has to be one of my favorite sessions to date because it was so…laid back and unique! The family had just moved into a GORGEOUS new space. Everyone was so jazzed about their new home, Mom really wanted to try and have the pictures IN the house instead of my traditional outside pics. Of course I was game!

The natural light in there was AMAZING. I won’t lie–not eveyone’s home lends itself so well for this kind of session. Mine sure doesn’t–but THIS one was built for photographs. We had such a blast trying out every different room…and even ended up in the tub! The staircase was especially awesome, and I definitely think we properly “christened” the house with it’s first offical photoshoot!!

Thanks for having me, and enjoy this peek into a sweet session with sisters at home.:)It’s a BIG one.

{Enchanted Evening} Harford County, Maryland Custom Family and Child Portrait Photographer

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening together! The light, the colors, the lushness of the grass….even the dandelions were cooperative! …but really, this session was a lot of fun and I was thrilled with how their pictures turned out. I get especially excited when Mom and Dad ask for a picture together…and even ORDER it! A handsome couple and family…am I right?;)Enjoy this peek into their session last month.
