I met up with this beautiful family tonight with the most adorable, too cute, twin girls you ever did see. They just recently turned one, and Mom and Dad decided some family pictures were definitely in the cards. I agree! How you could you NOT want to freeze these two just as they are right now?? Do you SEE those outfits!? AHH–cuteness overload!! Love ‘em!

And of course…we had to rock the tutus!
So…I got some adorable (and I mean ADORABLE) tutus in the mail on Friday and my daughter promptly fell. in. love. She immediatley looked at me and said, “Mommy, are you gonna take my picture??” (yes, she really said that…and yes, she is a total photographer’s kid–meaning she usually HATES having her picture captured).
It was my original intention to do so anyway (to have her “model” them), but the fact that she was IN to it….that really made my day.
Well….we waited until today to find the perfect spot and went crazy!! I fell in love with SO many of the pictures, I just had to showcase all of my favorites.

And oh yeah…my son was there! I have a tutu just the right size for “babies” (is he even a baby anymore–he IS one?). Somehow, modeling it on Jax just didn’t seem right. Lucky him!

Okay–THIS is my gorgeous cousin getting ready to leave for prom last night.
She seriously looked….stunning! She’s stunning anyway, but her hair, make up–the dress. Just beautiful.
I had to get a full length shot of the dress (unique, right?), but I found myself wanting to get mostly close ups.
It’s kind of bizarre as she grows up because she is starting to feel less like a “little cousin” (we are 13 years apart) and more like a friend.

I met up with this little guy and his parents yesterday at a great location in the area. There was so much to do and it was a gorgeous day! Little “Z” was so intrigued by the bugs, the geese (even babies–errr…goslings??), and boats in the water. The best was when we bumped into some local fisherman who had just pulled a flip flopping eel out of the water (yick!). That’s what he’s staring at so intently in the pic holding dad’s hand. He didn’t know what to make of it!
I even got a neat picture of “Z” next to dad’s tattoo. He got it shortly after he was born, and it’s his baby feet! Aww….
“Z” was all boy–and so sweet—climbing like crazy, running down the hill, obsessed with the bugs, and picking dandelion after dandelion…kind of gave me a window into what my son may be like in a year.

This baby boy is a very special one to me! His mom and dad are great friends of mine!
So…were you wondering about the title for his post? Well, both of my kids love the new Black Eyed Peas song, “Boom Boom Boom” (who doesn’t?), so when I started singing it to little “M,” wouldn’t you know it? It’s one of HIS favorites too! Gotta love that–and him!
