A storm was rolling in…
there was thunder, clouds….wind.
And a cute girl!!

What fun this session was!
Every once in awhile, people ask me what is custom photography? Well, rather than explain it-please read this link, but in a nutshell, it’s an experience catered to YOU.
I go where you want and take pictures of your kids…well, being themselves and having fun. There’s no rushing, no stress, no “say cheese,” (but I am very cheesy), and we mainly just play!
This session was a great night. We checked out the kids rooms, played with toys, and then went outside in the backyard and ran around! There was sliding, swinging, a “boo boo” (isn’t there always?), lots of love, and lots of sillies (yes that is a Yo Gabba Gabba reference for this family)!
If you are from Harford County and have kiddos, you probably recognize this mama and her babies! It’s Karen, the owner of Tiny Toes in Bel Air. We spent so much time together this past month, it only made sense that I capture her gang—and what a fun group they were.
Thanks for having me over. It’s nights like that I love my job best. Kids being kids just bring out the best in me….in everyone I believe. My favorite part was catching mom and dad snuggling just watching the two of them play.
Life is good.

I love the excited and proud look you can still see on his face as he grips the bat, about to knock it out of the park!.
Ummm…can someone say “photogenic?” 🙂

This sums it up. Little sis constantly enamored by her big bro. Adorable.
“Boo boo” bunny, little sis, and big brother making up for an “oops.” Classic.
Lovely…
Mommy Joy.
SO adorable! Love these…they are too cute!
Lindsay these are fantastic. We had so much fun with you. The kids keep asking when you are coming back. We can’t wait to see the rest of the photos!
Most of all the other beautiful things in life come by twos and threes by dozens and hundreds. Plenty of roses, stars, sunsets, rainbows, brothers, and sisters, aunts and cousins, but only one mother in the whole world.
~Kate Douglas Wiggin
Being a mother is by far the most important and fufilling part of my life.
Thanks mom, for showing me how to do it the best.
I love you!
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
Here’s a few of my favorite mother/child portraits I have taken over the past year….

Last night was a gorgeous one, and what better way to spend it than photographing some adorable brothers! These two definitely kept me on my toes…and it was fun!
Have I mentioned lately how estatic I am that spring has finally sprung around here? It’s GREEN and beautiful outside!
Lovin’ it!
Thanks for spending the evening with me G fam. It was great to meet you, and you have an adorable family!
🙂
PS–Stay tuned….I am doing a mother’s day picture tribute tomorrow on the blog, and I have a cute one of this mom and her boys!!

gorgeous! what a cute family!
Thank you SO much Lindsay- you were amazing and made taking pictures of our amazing children a heartfelt treat. We can’t wait to work w/u again!!! So glad to have met you!
Beautiful pictures!
Ah sibling pictures….it can go so many directions. My favorite thing is simply trying to catch kids…well, being kids! Yes, I occasionally ask for the “kiss your sister’s cheek,” but for the most part the best pictures come from the moments before, after, and inbetween my requests…..
This brother and sister were no different! 😉 So adorable….
It was fun hanging out with you guys this beautiful morning!
It was a mini–so just two! Okay okay —three (guilty).

LOVE THEM!! Lindsey you are soooooooo talented…I have never had success with getting these two together!! Thanks for today. It was GREAT! 🙂
