Lindsay Parks Photography » welcome

She’s at it again….the fabulous and oh so creative Suzanne Williams of Paisley and Posies designed these ADORABLE Fancy Nancy Tutus for little girls! Don’t know Fancy Nancy? You need to! The books are about a sassy, spunky, sweet little gal named Nancy who uses fancy words for everything. Basically, it’s a great lesson to introduce new and fun adjectives and language–and Nancy is as lovable a character as you can get!

So Suzanne has made three different tutus of Nancy’s, and this is just the first, the “Posh Puppy” Tutu from this book Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy.

If you haven’t checked out the series yet–do it–or do it for the little girl in your life. What better Valentine’s Day gift than the book and the tutu together??

Here’s my girl rocking the first look!
More to come this week–remember, there are THREE!!

That is what Mommy calls her, and it suits her very well!
What a pleasant little disposition this sweet 4 month old had….
It was so fun chatting away with Mommy as we changed hats and backgrounds for her first photo shoot!

Those eyes…they make me melt!
Seriously, what a darling…

I worked her hard, as she appropriately passed out in her swing after we were done. I wish I had a picture of that–it was so funny!

Enjoy the sneak! It was great meeting you guys today….

Yes, yes, I know….overload on my daughter lately…but can you blame me?
She’s all about the posing and helping Mommy!

So I got some new toys for “studio” work indoors. I am still using all natural light, and I feel the need to brush up!
It’s definitely a bit different for me (especially the first one–I even played with texture…) but I like it!!

Hope you do too!!

When I hear this song by Uncle Kracker, I always think of my kids.

You’re better then the best
I’m lucky just to linger in your light
Cooler then the flip side of my pillow, that’s right
Completely unaware
Nothing can compare to where you send me,
Lets me know that it’s ok, yeah it’s ok
And the moments where my good times start to fade

You make me smile like the sun
Fall out of bed, sing like bird
Dizzy in my head, spin like a record
Crazy on a Sunday night
You make me dance like a fool
Forget how to breathe
Shine like gold, buzz like a bee
Just the thought of you can drive me wild
Ohh, you make me smile

Even when you’re gone
Somehow you come along
Just like a flower poking the sidewalk crack and just like that
You steal away the rain and just like that

Don’t know how I lived without you
Cuz everytime that I get around you
I see the best of me inside your eyes
You make me smile

Speaking of smiling….here’s my silly girl in her new hat!

  • Shannon Hansen - Loved all the new pic’s! Can’t wait to see you in March for Ella’s 1 year photo shoot. She has gotten so big:)ReplyCancel

Look at this sweet face. Angelic, right? Good luck ever saying no to this guy!

What a story behind this little one’s beginning.
This is a family that has been through the ultimate challenge…losing dad.
I had the priviledge to photograph his new son today, and my oh my, he was gorgeous.

Mom is an amazing and kind woman with tons of memories and stories to share with everyone (I really enjoyed them), and big brother was excited and pack full of energy after a fun visit from Santa! Lots of family was in and out…aunts, grandparents, cousins…just the way it should be.

Baby brother “H” was a just a doll. He didn’t want to sleep at first (I am certain that babies know when it is their photo debut), but he finally gave in and we got some terrific shots. There was no crying, he just didn’t want to miss out on any action! 🙂

Look at those lips! What a pout….they come from Mommy’s side!

Before I left, we were chatting about how babies bring such a sense of “blessing” into a family. Each one is truly a tiny, sweet miracle that is “life.”

I am so happy for you guys, and thanks for letting me share in H’s arrival!
Last newborn of 2009….great note to end on! 😉
