{A Girl and Her Gator…and Her Brother} Maryland Beach Portrait Photography

So this is my daughter’s birthday theme….”pink alligators” is how she described it to me one lazy spring day when I asked her for thoughts on turning 3.

This was all her idea…her pefect little head designed the whole thing…and at first I wasn’t quite convinced.

However, the more I thought about it, the more I loved it. It’s unique, fun, and who doesn’t love pink and green? It’s definitley an opportunity for me to get creative too–which I secretly like.

THIS is her birthday attire! We ordered this outfit last month, and I am in love. I had to get little bro in on the fun too, and I knew the beach would be a perfect backdrop for sibling pics. The party is at the end of the month.

It was a gorgeous night, and it actually got me thinking….next year I’ll have to have some sessions down here. The scenery is a blank canvas, begging for an amazing portrait. I love the way all colors pop on the sand, sky, and surf.

Enjoy. Back to reality next week. Tons of sessions….will have lots to share. Until then…my babies again.

Can’t wait! See ya then!

  • Aunt Nancy - Absolutely precious!! Watch out girls – that Jackson is going to be a heartbreaker!! Love Marlie’s Carmen Maranda pose! You’re right, Lindsay – the sand makes a great backdrop.

Welcome back to reality – it ain’t so bad. It’s no day on the beach, but all-in-all it’s not too bad. . . . .

    Love you all –
