It’s October…time to “think pink!”

Well, I like to hope we think pink all year, and teal…and yellow…whatever our cause may be (and there are so many), but thinking pink is near and dear to me right now.

One of my nearest and dearest friends has a wonderful mom (as they usually are) who was diagnosed with breast cancer about three years ago. She had chemo…all was as well as it could be, but we found out a few weeks ago that the cancer is back and angry! Colleen is an amazing person. She is strong, brave…and extremely loving to everyone in her path. I know she’ll beat this again, and I hope she knows how many are standing behind her as she climbs up that hill one more time—especially a dapper one year old boy named Max (her grandson).

So..I am trying to put my mad skillz (ha ha) to good use! We are having “THINK PINK” mini sessions all day on Saturday, October 24th.

50 dollars to Susan G Komen and you get a free 8×10 and a set of wallets of your fave pose. That’s’ right—you donate your money to breast cancer awareness, and I will take a cute picture of your kiddo in pink, and give you those prints. That’s it! Of course you can order more…but you don’t have to!

So if you were thinking of donating, have fun and do it this way…and if it hadn’t crossed your mid yet, think it over, and schedule a session where you can give back, and get some cute pics of your darling girl (or boy).

Now, I geared this more towards gals because of the cause. Suzanne Williams of Paisley and Posies teamed up with me and donated various pink hued tutus, petti-skirts, beanies, and big ol’ flowers to really dress up and “pink up” our session together. And get this, if you BUY any PINK tutu from her etsy site she will donate the proceeds to Susan G. Komen as well—how cool is that!!?? You just can’t go wrong!

Check out my gal modeling all the goodies for you–and more! If you have a boy, and don’t want him rockin’ a tutu—which I understand— 😉 just dress him in pink and show up! Easy peasey, right?

So let’s dress up fancy and have fun all for a great cause.

WHEN:
October 24th
9am-12pm
15 minutes a session
50 dollar donation
8×10 and set of 8 wallets
MAKE. A . DIFFERENCE.

I should have listings up soon, but if you don’t see them, please let me know through a conversation!!! Let’s help beat breast cancer!!!ReplyCancel

I giggle as I write that title because this sweet little guy did not want to miss ANYTHING–and he’s 12 days old! He slept with one eye open for the longest time. My camera clicks brought him back to reality–he just did not want any fun to pass him by. It was hysterical. He’s the man behind the onesie “Party in my crib-3 am” Watch out Mom and Dad!

FINALLY he zonked, and we got to work. 😉

I love newborns. They are so special. It’s a time you can’t revel in as much when you are the actual “new mom” (you try, you REALLY try–it’s just hard). Popping in and visiting with these sweet precious new babies is a gift… I feel so lucky to be included in their beginnings.

Oh my–I am getting sappy!! I suppose that’s what happens when your youngest is 18 months and you fear this may be “it.”

You can’t get it back.
You just can’t….

But–you can have pictures that help you remember.
Enjoy!

Mommy–you are awesome and it was fun hanging with you and your newest addition!

This is my daughter’s preschool! I am honored to have been asked to capture their portraits this year.
I don’t think I have ever worked so hard (not even at the wedding I did!), but I had a ton of fun getting the kids to laugh, smile, and try to be themselves for a great shot.

Here are a few of the kids from today!

It was a blast little friends, and you did AWESOME!!

Tune in next week for the 4 year olds… 🙂
