{Precious} Baltimore County, Custom Newborn Portrait Photographer

What a beautiful little newborn baby girl that graced me with such a sweet smile during our session. She’s welcomed into the world by a very eager and darling big sister who, as you can see, was plenty excited about her newest role.

I have been thinking about this family a lot the past few months. The baby’s mother had shared with me that her dad was battling some aggressive cancer. When we were scheduling the session, she was unsure whether it would actually happen, the future was so uncertain, and so unpredictable. He really fought. He held on for a lot longer than his family ever imagined, and he was able to see this baby girl enter the world, and even spend a few months with her.

I always love thinking about the line in the song “Closing Time,” Every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end… I lost my own father just a few months after I got married, and even though he never physically knew my children, I know he knows them in a way that no one else can now.

My thoughts and prayers are with you guys, and I hope it will bring a smile on YOUR face to see the smile your only days old baby daughter gave me when she joined us here. She’s happy to be part of such a special family.

{Ice Cream, Sunflowers, …and Lotsa’ Love!!} Harford, Maryland Custom Family and Child Portrait Photographer

This night was so much fun (albeit chaotic of course), but so much love and energy. Can’t you tell just by looking at the photos of these guys? They ooze adoration and playfulness with one another. It’s definitely a connection that cannot be anything but genuine.

I have photographed this stunning family numerous time over the years, and I have loved it each and every time. The first time we met up, Mom was pregnant with little guy, and she and her hubby were about to find out the baby in her belly’s gender. She wasn’t too far along, but still–we captured that! Adorable big sis is probably one of the most endearingly, sweet photogenic young ladies I have had the pleasure of photographing (well, besides my Mar–lol). Baby brother (yes, it was a BOY-whom I had the pleasure of photographing as a newborn) was definitely at that ripe old age of 18 months where I wasn’t even close to being on his agenda this night–but oh how handsome! Daddy had to scootch pretty early for the session, but so happy to have finally caught him and his amazing bond with the kiddos this time. Last but not least, the phenomenal Mama of the bunch. I have said it before and I will say it again–one of my biggest supporters who “pimps” me out and shows me love always. I don’t think she truly knows how much that means to me!!

It has been pure bliss and honor to capture these memories for you guys! This is what it’s all about people!!:)

Until next time…because I know that there will be one. Maybe little man won’t be so interested in just his shoes (and running AWAY) when we meet again!
xoxo

{Together} Harford County, Maryland Custom Family Portrait Photographer

What can I say about this gorgeous family? 2 years ago, it was my first official year in business and I was contacted by Krista in the fall. She had found me on google, and wanted a family portrait session with her two girls, an almost three year old and 6 month old baby. I first photographed them here. My, it certainly is surreal to go back and revisit those pictures! Anyway, AT the session I fell in love with her girls pretty much instantly, and after chatting back and forth a few times over email talking about orders etc…we decided a play date was a must! Our older girls were the same age, and they get along famously. The rest is history!

I was blessed to make such a truly wonderful friend!! Almost a year later I photographed them again at the beach here. I have been so fortunate to capture this family change and grow, and it is most certainly even more gratifying because I care about them so much as well!!

This latest session was special because Krista’s parents and sister/brother in law were able to join us for a full on family portrait session. The threat of rain was hanging over us the entire time, but we made it! If you look closely at the second to last picture with the kids and their Aunt and Uncle…you can see the raindrops starting to fall down upon us!

Anyway, I have been excited to blog this session, and felt super compelled to do so because earlier this week I delivered some pretty awesome Organic Bloom Frames (you haven’t checked them out yet? Click here to check them out on facebook) to Krista’s house. A 16×20 twin double, 2 8x10s and 4 8x8s to be exact! GORGEOUS!! She recently sent me a cell phone picture of the final product, and …wow!!! L.O.V.E. I am surely heading over there soon to capture it for you all to see!!

Anyway…love you guys! Thanks for making me such an important part of chronicling your life together. It means so much. xoxo.

{miss and mister} Harford County, Maryland Newborn Twin Photographer

My first set of boy/girl twins! Introducing two sweet, little dolls, Nick and Mallory (did your thoughts go straight to Family Ties if you grew up in the 80s?). They join a wonderful family with two loving parents, and a big “fur”sister pup named Katie, and I couldn’t be happier for all of them!!!

Enjoy this sneak peek from their newborn session this summer. Hard to believe they will be three months old in a few short days!!… Time surely flies.
