Dusting off the ol’ blog here! It’s not that I haven’t had much to share…I have just become such a facebooker! That isn’t fair though, and the pictures look soooo much better and sharper here on my lovely blog. I am going to be better, promise (and if you haven’t logged onto my facebook business page recently, take a peek at what I have been up to by clicking here)!
Sweet Scarlett was a joy to photograph a few weeks ago. Not only was Mommy excited to use all my (MANY) baby newborn girl finds…she had some of her own to share for the session as well. I always love when clients have unique ideas and family gifts/heirlooms to showcase during a session. The quilt behind Scarlett in the glider was made by her grandmother on Mommy’s side. The adorable pink bunny chair was from her grandmother on Daddy’s side. It’s also fun when clients see something done with another one of my newborns before their session and then request it for their own newborn session too–like my favorite combo here, the peacock swaddle blanket and orange vintage flower headband lying on the barnwood floor (sigh–I love it too).
Thanks for letting me capture this time for you guys. She’s as sweet as they come for sure!!
Brea A. - oh my heart…what a perfect little gerber baby!!!!!
Linda - I must agree that this darling little girl is beautiful, but then most grandmoms would say this. We are lucky to have so many gorgeous babies in our family, and we know how lucky we are that ALL of them are blessed with lovely features. Scarlett is “right up there” with the rest. Love you, Scarlett, Lucy
