I’m starting to think I should have a seperate blog for the pics of my kids!
I just love taking pictures of them…and I hope YOU like seeing them!
I can’t help myself…and I had a slow weekend session wise, so here I am…again.

Anyway, for good reason this time (not that I need one).
I am prepping for my daughter’s school’s preschool pictures this week.
Yes, I am taking them…of all the kids…3/4 year olds.
I. Can’t. Wait.

So stay tuned.
Stay tuned for that and a “think pink” fundraiser I have brewing….

Well, I rented a lens I am currently drooling over to see if I do in fact love it.
I want to use it this week for the school pics.
Ummm..yeah, I do. I love it.
And I just love these pics of my favorite girl.

I was just looking through the latest fall session I had with my kids–it kind of was a hot mess–all 20 minutes or so of it!
I came across these two pics of my daughter and had to share.

Everyone always comments what a great model she is –and she is–but she’s 3.
This is actually what I get a lot!
I still love it, and had to showcase, ….the pouty look!

Luckily those shots easily turn into this…with the right words…and the right treat (Yes, …I’M GUILTY)!

Nope that’s not a typo.

Yes, we add an extra “Pop” for the great (read that two ways) grandfather!

So…my grandfather made this plane for my younger brother when we were kids. My wonderful mother saved it, of course, for my kiddos, and low and behold–they are finally old enough to enjoy it!

I had to capture the moment forever, and for Pop Pop Pop.

He is the most talented man (I know, I was going on and on last time about how hard working and great he is, now add to that extremely gifted).

I have so many things in my home that he made with his bare hands, and I can’t even begin to tell you how special these treasures are to me.

This is only one of them….enjoy!!

***and I would be more than happy to bring this treasure to any session as a prop!***

I am not going to lie.
I was nervous today.

Itā€™s a huge challenge to pull off a ā€œnewbornā€ shoot at 7 weeks old, but when I met mom and dad, met baby ā€œS,ā€ and accessed her overall demeanorā€¦I knew we were just fine (and she even had a cranky day according to Mommy).

She was just perfect and SUCH a good girl. For most of her session she was bright eyed and bushy tailed (or her eyes were half open trying to make sure she didnā€™t miss anything)ā€¦but she fell asleep as we were wrapping up, which allowed for some great variety in shots! Check out the adorable doll bed her grandmother put together. I had to try and work that in somehow. She looks like a little baby doll lying there!

What a wonderful , sweet, new family. Enjoy your sneakā€¦it was fun hanging out with you guys this morning!

My son.
He’s on this photo blog sporadically for two reasons really.
He’s not a “fan” of the ol’ camera (ie–looks down not at me).
His sister knows how to work the camera pretty well.
Poor little man. I feel like he gets neglected in the picture dept.
So….while big sis was at school, we had some fun….and BOY did he make me work.
He’s fast, he’s curious, and it was bright and sunny! It certainly is an eye opener chasing him around by myself for a half hour and trying to get a good shot at the same time!

I am happy to have some nice cute pictures of him though, and of course want to share them with you too!
He is growing up so fast.
He’s almost 17 months and sweet as can be. Really. Just a doll.
