My third time photographing this sweet little carrot top and I honestly think he gets CUTER every time? How is that possible!
I love this age…the smiles, the curiosity, and the staying PUT–lol!

Such a sweet family this is…and yes, there are 4 boys–the youngest of whom I photographed as a newborn last year around this time. Oh, what a difference a year makes (as always).
I won’t lie, the idea of having a session with four boys made me nervous. I have said before, with girls, I am safe. Having a 4 year old daughter I am immersed in the princesses, Hello Kitty, Fancy Nancy….I mean, I’ve GOT it when it comes to little girls. Little boys I am still learning…at two and a half my son seems to pretty much still loves and adores cars, trucks, tractors–anything with wheels. I am pretty sure after say, 4, that isn’t as “cool” anymore.
Well these 4 dapper dudes were truly nothing but a pleasure. They laughed at my lame jokes, helped make one another laugh for the single shots—and just look at the family shot! I wish I could say that I had a lot to do with it….but they really were just an easy family to photograph (do I need to be knocking on wood now)?
At the end of the session, we even got sweet baby “E” in what Mommy called his “formal wear.” What a classic look–and the wagon made it perfect!

This is Max…a super cool kiddo and super close to my heart as well. He’s a few months younger than my Jackson, and his Mommy and I like to refer to our guys as “Jax and Max.” The holiday season is such a super busy time for family and child photographers…so it’s always a real treat to have a session with someone you love!

The best part of the session was how we finally got him to crack a big ol’ smile (I think he was nervous). I asked him if he wanted to see me jump. He replied yes, so I did, and it got….a little smile. He then wanted Mommy to do it, so she did, and ….a bigger smile. Of course then Daddy was instructed to do so as well, and that sealed the deal. It was super funny to him. So he asked Daddy to do it again—and again—and again (and don’t be thinking this was some huge, cool jump–it was more like, …a little hop). Mommy and I enjoyed that about as much as Max did!
Loved seeing you and loved, loved capturing little man Max before he becomes a big brother in April!!

Well, I am winding down this week and pretty much closing up shop for a few weeks to edit my little heart out! Speaking of hearts, these two cuties sure got mine yesterday morning! I am in “mommy” love with that last shot of them in their **ahem** Vikings Jerseys (sorry ya’ll) and J in her Santa hat–so stinkin’ cute!
Short on time and words these days, but thank you soo much P fam! Your two little ones are simply adorable, and I am super happy the weather was so good to us this week!!
