Lindsay Parks Photography » welcome

It happened again!Β I had another one of my newborns from last summer–she’s now 15 months and just adorable!

Miss H arrived bright and early for her photo session, along with her wonderful parents. I just love her little hair style–short and sassy–just like her. We spent the morning exploring the park in the lovely freshly cut dewy grass. It was a little overcast, but not too hot yet, which is always a good thing.

Her session is looking so cute. The family shots really make me smile, especially the one where her parents are lovingly kissing her cheeks. Just look at her little fingers wrapped around Daddy’s (hey isn’t that supposed to be the other way around?). πŸ™‚Β  My other favorite shot is the one where she’s standing up on the picnic table in her pink dress.Β  Literally, she had just gotten dressed, Mommy arranged her barrette just so, Β and I was really loving the light.Β  I politley asked Dad to step out of the frame, she smiled at me, and viola!Β  Sometimes I get lucky and it happens just.like.that.

Thanks so much for yesterday! I feel blessed and honored to capture these little people as they grow and change over the years. It makes my heart happy. Enjoy….

(yeah yeah–I know you know–but new readers might not so)—15 blog comments gets this super fam a free 5×7 print! Lend a hand if you please!

Time really does fly. I think it all the time about my own children, but being in the child portrait business for over a year now….I am thinking this about my clients as well. There is something so rewarding and exciting about taking a baby’s first pictures as newborns, and then their one year photos as well.

This is “A” and big sis “E.” I met them for the very first time about a year ago when A was born, and even back then I could tell that baby A was going to have a fabulous big sister. Now, a year later, I was right! It was so adorable seeing her protect and love her baby sis.

Mom joked at the session that little A is pretty much like a “toddler boy” in her mannerisms sometimes. She’s strong, serious, determined, and all about exploring and discovering new things–not to mention just stinkin’ adorable! I love the series of pics with her and my yellow chair. She pretty much wanted to show us how strong she was by picking it up and carryying it up and down the bridge. It was nothing short of hysterical and just super cute.

E is my daughter’s age and just a sweet, thoughtful, caring gal with a big ol’ heart… feeling for everyone. When I was processing her pictures–I could see that. She also kind of reminds me of young Drew Barrymore in E.T with that sweet smile and crinkly “happy” eyes.

You guys have a beautiful family, a lovely balance of personality, and a LOT of fun on your hands.
Enjoy the sneak, and A–Happy First Birthday!!

And if you like what you see, leave a comment please!Β  15 comments gets A and E’s lovely family a FREE 5×7!Β  Woot!

I am a child of three, and secretly I am pretty sure I always thought I would have three of my own (who knows, right?). This mom told me that going from one to two children is harder than going from two to three… πŸ™‚

When we met up in this family’s neighborhood last night it was a little overcast, but as our session was winding down the sun came out and wow….what a great location for some evening sunset light.

These are some seriously beautiful children, right? I am in complete awe and amazement over the oldest child’s gorgeous head of hair! The middle child, and only boy, was also donning some of those pretty curls. Baby “L” was your standard youngest. We toted her around, and she was pretty much content to just “be.” What a sweetie pie.

After a hot and sweaty session, we ended the evening at the playground swinging! Big sis was learning to pump, little “L” preferred to sit still in her swing, and “B” explored the tunnel like any little toddler boy would. Life’s good!

Great meeting you guys! Thanks for a sun session! Enjoy the sneak…and as always, 15 blog comments gifts this fam a 5×7 print! You know you want too…. πŸ˜‰

That’s right, three sweet little girls for this family!

This adorable set of twin girls are 6 weeks old already….the oldest newborns I have had to date, and the FIRST set of newborn twins I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. It was definitely a great challenge for me all around (good “training” as my dad would have said), but I am extremely pleased with the pictures so far. I really love being able to try new and different poses etc for my portfolio, and their mom was up for whatever I wanted to try! Thanks Mom!

Sweet little A and E aren’t identical, as I am sure you can tell, but they are both gorgeous baby girls. They pretty much took turns sleeping on and off, except for when we took them outside for some pictures on the blanket–the cool breezes we were having yesterday knocked BOTH them right out, as Mom predicted it would. I seized the opportunity! πŸ˜‰

I love the shots with big sister V. This gal is full of spunk, and she will certainly make sure her younger counterparts learn the ropes. I had a really good time taking her out for a “mini photoshoot” of her own. Everybody needs that special attention!

Thanks again for having me over yesterday. You blessed with three beautiful girls!! Enjoy the sneak, and as always–15 comments get this family a free 5×7. Show the love!!! Thanks. πŸ™‚
